I've always thought the English language to be romantic just like they say French, Spanish, and Italian are - mostly because it's the only one I know, but also because I've dedicated a part of my studies to it. So I've never thought much about the flaws it has or the ways it could be updated. You are so right, though. This is such an insight read :)
